I used to have a specialised formal wear shop at Mona Vale called "Anything But Casual" some 20 years ago (that's me in the photo above back then). I sold the business and decided to do some university study relating to the beauty industry. After getting my degree I decided to return to fashion and found renewed passion. This time I am making easy wear, easy travel and stylish clothing for the busy, mature woman. Because very few women are a standard " SHOP " size, I have grouped my designs into three areas...
"Petite"... covering sizes 6,8,10
( many women who are small in frame do not want to wear teenage clothes or shop in the childrens wear department.) Now they can buy fashionable clothes that fit them perfectly.
"Curvaceous"...... this covers sizes 12, 14, 16.
Specially designed for the curvy woman.
"Voluptuous"........... for the size 18 and over.
Nearly all my garments are separates as many women differ in upper and lower body measurements. I find this makes an individual fashion statement for each client. They can actually choose their own style by picking individual pieces. These can be worn in a variety of ways as most of my outfits are interchangeable. My choice of fabric is unique as I only purchase a limited amount of the same print. I'm always on the lookout for a fresh new look.
My favourite fabrics to work with are Leather, Suede, Silk, Linen and Jerseys.
