The Tessuti Awards

What I am passionate about....... I love Italy.....the food, old historic buildings, the quaint little villages in the countryside and the wonderful " zest for life" that Italians seem to possess. Italians have fantastic design ability, whether it be furniture ,clothing , jewellery or shoes. I work with some beautiful Italian silks and jerseys and decided to enter the "Tessuti " competition using some of these silks ( leopard skin prints featuring in the shoulder pads ) . My " Frock up in Colour" is RED , passionate and rich.

"Frock up in Colour"

Red jersey dress, wrap dress, easy tie at back, features shoulder pads which can be removed easily ( transparent press studs), low elegant back ( backless bra can be worn), jersey is non crush so frock can be packed easily for travel. Frock is shorter at front and has a soft flow at the back. Comfortable to wear and a style to suit many occasions.

" Little Black Dress"

Beautiful black silk jersey trimmed with black glitter stretchy banding. Dress is easy to wear as jersey adapts to your body shape, the feature is a lowered back and crossed glitter straps ( a backless bra can be worn). Frock can be taken to your work and worn out to an event that night, as jersey is light in weight and doesn't crush. Shoulder pads have been used to accentuate the shoulders.
